Giving a reason with から
Explain why: give the reason first, then say what follows from it.

Learn
English puts “because” before a reason: “because it’s cold.” Japanese puts から after the reason: 寒い から. Think “it’s cold + because,” but use natural English when translating the sentence.
In this pattern, the order is reason + から, result. English can use the same idea order: “Because it’s cold, I’m not going.” The key difference is where the linking word goes, not that English must always put the result first.
After an i-adjective, attach から directly: 寒い から. After a noun in the plain form, include だ: 学生 だ から. You can also use a polite ending before から, as in 先生 です から.
Examples
寒い から、家 に います。

お金 が ある から、コーヒー を 飲みます。
Because I have money, I’m having coffee.
この コーヒー は 熱い から、飲みません。
Because this coffee is hot, I’m not drinking it.
