Operator status
Kyun is an independent service operated from Spain. Contact: matt@startupfy.es. The operator’s full legal identity, tax identification number and address, and a professional review of these documents, are still pending. We explicitly acknowledge this missing information. This document is not presented as legal advice.
Purpose
Kyun is an educational app for learning JLPT N5 Japanese through spaced repetition. These terms describe the release candidate available during preparations for launch.
Use of the service
You must use the service lawfully and for personal purposes. You must not interfere with it or attempt to access other people’s data. You are responsible for access to the email or Google account you link.
Intellectual property
Texts, lessons, code and design belong to their respective owners or are used under their licenses. Personal use within the app is permitted. Reproduction or exploitation outside the app requires permission.
Availability and recovery
The service may change or be interrupted. Staging and production have point-in-time recovery, scheduled backups and deletion protection. Self-service deletion has also been tested.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for harm arising from unlawful use, third-party services or losses not attributable to negligence. This clause does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes and applicable law
The current version is the one published here. Spanish law applies, and jurisdiction belongs to the courts determined by applicable regulations, without depriving consumers of mandatory jurisdiction rights.
