ひょ (hyo), hiragana yōon

The two characters combine into one syllable lasting one beat (mora). Do not give the small kana a separate beat.

ひょ combines ひ with a small ょ. Instead of saying ひ and then a separate vowel, say hyo as one syllable with one beat.
