ぐ (gu), hiragana dakuten

The dakuten marks on く give a voiced consonant, such as g, z, d, or b. Your vocal cords vibrate during that consonant.

ぐ is く with dakuten (the two marks ﾞ) at the upper right. The marks change the consonant sound.
